2023 YWCA TORONTO WOMEN OF DISTINCTION AWARDS GALA

730 guests joined us on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at the 42nd YWCA Toronto Women of Distinction Awards Gala to honour the work of seven remarkable women. Thanks to our guests, sponsors, silent auction donors and bidders our signature event raised over $600,000 to help transform the lives of women, girls and gender diverse people in Toronto.

None of YWCA Toronto’s life-saving work is possible without kind people like you. When you help women, girls and gender diverse people flee violence, secure housing, find jobs, promote health and well being, enhance skills and build towards better futures, you help create a stronger community for all.

For over 40 years, YWCA Toronto has applauded the remarkable lives and work of women. They are your colleagues, teachers, friends, mentors and neighbours. Women of Distinction are visionaries committed to creating a place at the table for women, girls and gender diverse people and shattering glass ceilings. Each year, YWCA Toronto celebrates extraordinary women who advance gender equity in a range of areas such as business, education, social justice, advocacy, health, arts, philanthropy and more. Nominations are now open for the 2024 Women of Distinction Awards.
