  • Low Ropes
  • Paddleboarding
  • Canoeing
  • Swimming

All are welcome at Camp Tapawingo. If you require any accommodations in order to participate in these activities, please contact us to make your needs known in advance of your arrival.

Our daily schedule varies with the interests of the group. We offer options to:

  • Hike with the group in the morning or head out on your own on our marked camp trails.
  • Mountain biking at any time of the day.
  • The hot tub is always available for use.
  • Try the climbing wall, the low ropes course, or archery.
  • Canoeing and swimming —if the water is still warm enough!
  • Relax by the lake where there are plenty of Muskoka chairs ready for you.
  • Saturday evenings we often host a craft night, such as tie-dying, and have an outdoor campfire (weather permitting of course). Also, line dancing has proved to be a popular evening activity.

Accommodations are camp style, meaning that you will be sharing a cabin with two or three other people.

  • The beds are bunk beds —you do not need to use the top bunks!
  • Cabins all have electricity and are heated.
  • Bathrooms are in a nearby building.

At Camp Tapawingo we recognize that participants have diverse food traditions and practices. By offering a variety of meals and dishes we aim to promote inclusion and sharing of cultures through food.

Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style and supper is served family style.

Vegetarian options are always available.

Some financial assistance is available. For more information, please email camping@ywcatoronto.org.
