South Etobicoke Mental Health & Housing Program

Our program supports single women and gender diverse people who face multiple barriers accessing housing due to histories of homelessness, past traumas and complex health issues by providing immediate access to housing and ongoing case management.

Single women and gender diverse people with observed or self-identified mental health/addiction challenges (no formal diagnosis is necessary), who also:

  • qualify for a housing subsidy under the criteria set by the Ministry of Health;

  • are 16 years of age or older;

  • and are willing to accept some level of case management supports;

  • are referred through the Toronto Mental Health and Addictions Access Point.

Based on the Housing First Model, this program aims to support wellness and recovery by providing immediate access to housing and ongoing intensive case management, including physical health, mental health, psychoeducation, eviction prevention, and community integration supports.

At any given time, the South Etobicoke Mental Health and Housing Program can serve 30 participants.

To apply to this program, complete an application through The Toronto Mental Health and Addictions Access Point at https://theaccesspoint.ca/
