Group Volunteer Opportunities
Want to give back to the community as a corporate or community organization? YWCA Toronto provides your group with various opportunities to help transform the lives of women and girls in practical way.
Volunteer with YWCA Toronto and your team will learn about the pressing issues facing women and girls in Toronto, bond with your colleagues through true teamwork, share your experience with others, and make a lasting difference in your local community.
To find out more about how your group can get involved, contact Faith Feingold, Head of Major Gifts at FFeingold@ywcatoronto.org with the following information:
• The number of volunteers in your group
• The dates and times you are available to volunteer
• Your preferred location
• Your area of interest
• Any special skills that your group can share.
Note: Please provide us with at least six weeks’ notice if you have a particular day in mind for your volunteer activity.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
YWCA Toronto relies on the passion and special skills of our amazing volunteers in order to serve the over 13,000 single women, women with children, girls and gender diverse people we serve each year. Volunteers at YWCA Toronto work in partnership with staff in many different areas to achieve our mission – from program support to administrative assistance, to hands-on event opportunities. Individual placements and group opportunities are available throughout the city at our fifteen locations and may be long or short-term.

Student Placement Opportunities
Interested applicants can send a resume along with the name of your school, dates, and required number of hours for the placement. We will contact you only if there is an opportunity available.
