Child Care Services 

YWCA Bergamot Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a licensed child care located in YWCA Bergamot Apartments in Rexdale. In this high-quality child care program, children learn, develop and play in a safe, nurturing environment. We offer a child-centred program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

We also provide free child-minding services to women in many of our employment and training programs as well as our group support programs. Spaces are available for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Spaces in the Early Learning Centre are open to families living at YWCA Bergamot Apartments as well as to families in the community.

  • caring, qualified early childhood development staff

  • activities that enhance physical, social, emotional, language and intellectual development

  • nutritious and delicious meals and snacks prepared by on-site cook

  • outdoor playground on-site

Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-6:00 pm. 

Call the Early Learning Centre for information on rates. Subsidized spaces are available through a service agreement with Toronto Children's Services.
