The YWCA Elm Centre is an $80 million development made possible by public investment and private philanthropy.

YWCA thanks our partners at all levels of government for contributing $38 million.

YWCA Toronto is responsible for the balance of $42 million, and this amount will be managed through a combination of private donations and financing.

To date, supporters have contributed $12 million in private funding, including an unprecedented $5 million gift - believed to be the largest single donation on record to a social services organization in Canada's history. We are also very proud to say that to date more than 80% of our YWCA staff has contributed to this project.
