Camp Tapawingo is located on the protected shores of Georgian Bay, 6.5 km from the town of Parry Sound. MAP

What facilities are available?
We offer our campers the opportunity to enjoy archery, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, sailing, marine skills, swimming, volleyball and sports training and instruction.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
Campers enjoy summertime  ‘cabin life’ with eight campers and two counsellors per cabin.

Who is on staff at YWCA’s Camp Tapawingo? 
Camp Director: Camp Director Elizabeth Greenway B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed. has been making camp a place where girls can thrive since 1979.
Assistant Director: Joanne Dwhytie B.A., Rec. Dip., B.Ed.
Camp Counsellors: Our counsellors are selected for their leadership abilities, responsibility and dedication to the development of each camper.
