Young Women Talk Consent: A Panel Discussion

What is sexual consent? What does it mean to give consent? Why is important to talk about consent?

Join YWCA Toronto for an informative panel discussion at this year’s National Women’s Show. We will be talking to consent activists and 2016 Women of Distinction Tessa Hill and Lia Valente, and young leaders from our YWCA Toronto Girls’ Council. These young women are changing the conversation and helping create healthier, safer, more inclusive attitudes around sex and sexual consent. Attend the panel to learn about their work and the consent culture movement!

When:  Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Where: Life & Learning Stage

Watch Tessa Hill and Lia Valente’s 2016 Women of Distinction Awards profile video.
