Donors who are inspired to give $1,000 plus annually are welcomed as YWCA Turning Point Partners. Whether you make this gift all at once, monthly or in installments your gift helps to ensure that we continue to be there when vulnerable women and families need us most.
Being a Turning Point Partner offers a more intimate way to understand and experience your gift at work through regular communications, exclusive tours of YWCA programs and special events featuring dynamic speakers on women’s issues and philanthropy. Your donation is recognized in our Annual Report and on our website.
Every day YWCA Toronto staff support women and girls in over 25 programs across the city. The YWCA serves at-risk communities in the inner suburbs and women and families who are vulnerable as a result of poverty, homelessness, violence, racism, or other forms of exclusions. Last year we were a turning point in the lives of over 16,000 women and their families. Your donation will help change the lives of women and girls. Donate today.
Give in Memory or Honour
Celebrate a special person or occasion by making a gift in their honour.
Celebrate the life of someone dear to you by giving a gift in their memory.
We will send acknowledgement with a printed card or an e-card on your behalf. The amount of your donation will not be included in the card. A tax receipt will be issued. Donate today.
Adopt a Family
With support from donors like you, the Adopt a Family program has been providing gift cards to families since 2007. The gift cards have meant the families could make their own purchases, according to their own traditions and needs.
This year, we’re asking you to make an easy online donation or simply pick a gift from our new Adopt a Family gift catalogue by December 7th and let us do the rest. We’ll purchase the gift cards and special items on your behalf and you’ll receive a heartfelt thank you note from a family you are helping and a tax receipt for your much needed contribution.
We have also added some special items to the gift catalogue that would make everyday life in the shelter a little brighter.
