Violence against women is a pressing issue that affects the lives of many of the women who come to all our programs. As a result of this overarching reality of violence in the lives of the women and girls who come to us for support, YWCA Toronto consults with public policy makers, elected officials and senior bureaucrats about changing the conditions that underlie and condition violence against women. In this way, we help to make lasting change for women and girls in Toronto.

These 30 second spots to build awareness about the issue of violence against women have been produced by ZiG Inc. (Toronto 2003). They have aired on major networks in Toronto and across Canada.
