YWCA Toronto is concerned that before and during the G20 Summit in Toronto the mass arrests
and many of the security measures taken violated the rights associated with peaceful protest and
due process, including the rights to freedom of expression and assembly and the right to be
protected from arbitrary arrest.

The gallery will release a limited edition, signed, and numbered print by preeminent Woodland artist Christian Morrisseau. The print, ‘Mother and young - women of faith’ features a loon protecting her young. Gallery on the Lake will donate $100 of the proceeds of each print in support of the YWCA Elm Centre.

He will facilitate a workshop on Woodland Style for women living in YWCA Toronto shelters and housing.
