rights of women and girls

week without violenceAs part of our direct service with women and girls, YWCA Toronto works for social change to improve the lives of those who come to us for support.

Through our presence at senior government tables, public forums, press conferences and through the development of policy papers and deputations, we advocate on the most pressing program issues in the area of violence against women, housing and women’s economic independence.

Families, communities, providers, and advocates will not stand by and watch this happen.
